**No afternoon Weather Xtreme video today… had to make multiple school stops!**

EASY FORECAST: Scroll down for the morning edition of the Weather Xtreme video… still very valid in the short term. Sunny mild days and clear chill nights will continue through Sunday with hardly a cloud in the Alabama sky.

FOOTBALL WEATHER: For the high school games tonight, the sky will be clear, with temperatures falling from the mid 60s at kickoff into the low 50s by the fourth quarter.

This is homecoming weekend at the University of Alabama… the Crimson Tide will host Ole Miss at 8:00 tomorrow night; the sky will be clear with a kickoff temperature in the low 60s, falling to near 50 by the final whistle. Auburn hosts the Arkansas Razorbacks at Jordan-Hare Stadium tomorrow afternoon at 2:30. The sky will be sunny with temperatures in the mid 70s at kickoff, falling into the 60s by the fourth quarter. Samford hosts Furman Saturday at 1:00 PM at Seibert Stadium. Kickoff temperatures should be in the middle 70s, and it should stay there through the game with full sunshine and a north breeze. At Legion Field, UAB will host UTEP tomorrow afternoon at 3:00. The sky will be clear, with a kickoff temperature near 75 degrees, falling into the 60s by the end of the game.

NEXT WEEK: We do note the 12Z run of the GFS has become a little more aggressive with the chance of rain Wednesday of next week. Nothing to get excited about just yet, but we will be watching the trends over the weekend. We sure need a rainy day… check out these rain deficits for the year:

Birmingham 5.06″
Anniston 7.87″
Tuscaloosa 10.46″
Montgomery 11.99″

TROPICS: Paula has dissipated on the north coast of Cuba, and the rest of the Atlantic basin is very quiet. We note the latest global model runs have developed “Richard” in the same general region late next week, with a motion to the northeast into the Atlantic, and no threat to the Gulf of Mexico.
