Nasty Storm Western Jefferson

Nasty storm in western Jefferson County, extending over into northeastern Tuscaloosa and southeastern Walker Counties.

Destructive hail a good bet.

LATE REPORT at 10:50 PM CDT — golf ball size hail covering the ground near the Mulberry Fork of the Warrior River 5 miles west of Short Creek in western Jefferson County.

Severe thunderstorm warning until 1115 p.m CDT for western Jefferson and southeastern Walker Counties. Tuscaloosa County has now been cleared.
