2 pm Quick Look at Alabama+Other Notes
That line of showers (a near solid line) continues to shift southeastward into Central Alabama. At 2 pm the line extended from near Eutaw and Greensboro northeast into East Alabama. The heaviest rain was along the Shelby/Talladega County line and especially over Central and NE Talladega County
Still no indication of lightning. Cooler air continues to push in from the northwest.
MISSISSIPPI DAMAGE REPORT
Late this morning, (between 11 am and 11:30) a few trees were uprooted at Mendenhall in Simpson County and a couple of homes were damaged. At Martinville, three homes and three chicken houses were damaged.
