Alaska Warm-Up

Thanks to ABC 33/40 Skywatcher Kristie Calvin for sending these images earlier this week… she writes:

“Hi James:

I hope you are enjoy your trip! The next to the last day of 2010 was a warm one for the Interior of Alaska. We hit 1 degree above zero! After weeks and weeks of 20 to 45 degrees below zero, 1 degree felt amazingly warm. To celebrate the warm weather, Mike and I headed out for a nice two hour hike at Creamer’s Field, a migratory bird refuge. While there were not any birds to observe, we founds lots of things to photograph. Hope you enjoy them!”
