Numerous Reports of Sleet/Freezing Rain West Alabama

Governor Riley has declared a state of emergency for Alabama to speed the response process to the current winter storm.

Radar now shows increasing sleet and freezing rain over West Central Alabama across northern Sumter, Greene, Hale, southwestern Tuscaloosa County, Perry and northern Dallas Counties.
