It is a breezy, cold day across Alabama. A brisk NW wind has kept the wind chill in the low to mid 20s this afternoon.

Temperatures at 1 o’clock were in the low and mid 30s over the north and central portions.

Radar showed a very narrow band of precipitation from Centre and Gadsden in northeast Alabama southwestward to near Birmingham and south of Tuscaloosa.

A few very small snow flakes reported in Downtown Birmingham and several reports of snow flurries in the Tuscaloosa.

These are very light and there is no problem in any accunulations.
