Marshall County in Warning

Fairly dangerous looking storm near Arab in Marshall County is getting more organized. It has prompted a severe thunderstorm warning for Marshall, Jackson and DeKalb counties. It will pass near Arab and Guntersville.

It is capable of producing damaging winds in excess of 60 mph as well as a tornado.

Storms in Cullman County are growing quite strong and extend from Cullman back to the southwest. These could also become severe as they move toward Hanceville, Holly Pond and Blountsville in Blount County. be prepared to take quick action if warnings are issued.

Storms are growing over West Central Alabama from Fayette and northern Tuscaloosa Counties back into southern Lamar and Pickens Counties. These storms will also likely become severe.

Storms over South and Southeast Alabama have intensified. It doesn’t appear they will have an affect on the North Alabama storms.

To the north, that red box is a tornado warning for Bradley County TN, around Chattanooga. The worst part of that storm seems to be between Chattanooga and Soddy Daisy.
