Spring Break At The Beach
Some (but certainly not all) school systems are out next week, and we expect big crowds on the central Gulf Coast. Here is a quick peek at what to expect from Panama City west to Gulf Shores…
SATURDAY/SUNDAY: Lots of sunshine with highs on the immediate coast in the mid 60s. Remember, the ocean is still cool and that limits ability of the air to really get warm. The sea water temperature at Dauphin Island this afternoon is only 61 degrees. Once you get a few miles inland, low to mid 70s are likely.
NEXT WEEK: The weather looks generally dry Monday through Thursday with highs in the 60s on the coast, with 70s inland. The chance of a shower on these four days for now looks very small. A few showers could show up Friday, but they will be isolated and nothing to really worry about at this point.
Pretty amazing that we are not expecting at least one really cold day next week… that is usually part of the spring break mix.
