A Big Temperature Contrast

It is still that way across Alabama, almost a 40-degree change from north to south. So, lets do another one of those temperature profiles from south to north based on official temperatures at 6 o’clock this evening:

80 Mobile Regional Airport
76 Evergreen
74 Greenville
70 Auburn and Montgomery
63 Alexander City
58 Calera
54 Tuscaloosa
52 Birmingham
44 Huntsville
42 Haleyville

NOW SOME RAIN AMOUNTS
I overlooked posting these amounts early today. Let’s blame it on SSS (Severe Sleep Shortage) These totals for 24 hours ending Sunday morning:

2.09 Huntsville
1.74 Guntersville
1.73 Russellville
2.28 Scottsboro
2.02 Valley Head
2.05 Fort Payne
1.50 Harris Dam
0.89 Weiss Dam (Centre)
0.75 Gadsden
0.63 Smith Dam
0.79 Livingston
1.65 Rock Mills
1.79 Gaylesville

You can see there were widespread good amounts especially over North and Central Alabama. Some areas were getting short on rain. There is more rain on the menu this week.
