Interesting Winter Sky

Thanks to Ralph Koepsel for these images taken from DeKalb County, up in Northeast Alabama. J.B. Elliott tells us “Ralph worked with us at NWS/BHM, 11 West Oxmoor. He retired from the regional office in Anchorage and now lives in DeKalb County, so these pix were shot in NE Ala.”

Ralph writes:

“All these shots are to the east. The morning sunrise and then some Altocumulus with snow virga (snow falling from the cloud..but not reaching the ground) at sunset. ”
