Chance of White Christmas 10%

Only because it’s closer and there are still some models showing the possibility. Overall model indications have decreased.

The GFS has come back around to its original solution, bringing precipitation in here by late Christmas Eve night into Christmas morning. However, it shows the temp being a bit too warm for snow here…maybe some snow in Tennessee.

The Canadian GEM is still the most promising for snow…showing a strong upper-level wave moving right through north Alabama Monday night, with enough cold air for 1″ of snow at least as far south as Huntsville, and maybe even Birmingham.

The NOGAPS shows the upper-level system, too, but with the cold air north of Alabama.

The European still shows a significant system at the upper-levels, but pinpointing the rain/snow line is nearly impossible.
