A very tight rotation signature indicating likely tornado is over Samantha in northwestern Tuscaloosa County.

This is well north of Northport and the City of Tuscaloosa as you can see.

Tuscaloosa [AL] till 5:15 AM CDT …AT 458 AM CDT…NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM CAPABLE OF PRODUCING A TORNADO. THIS DANGEROUS STORM WAS LOCATED NEAR LAKE TUSCALOOSA BINION CREEK LANDING…OR 11 MILES NORTH OF NORTHPORT…MOVING NORTHEAST AT 65 MPH.
