Storms in eastern Mississippi are moving east at 70 mph. Wind shear is quite high in this area and a small spin up tornado could occur.

NORTHERN LAMAR COUNTY IN WEST CENTRAL ALABAMA…
MARION COUNTY IN NORTHWEST ALABAMA…

* UNTIL 1045 AM CDT

* AT 959 AM CDT…THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE INDICATED A LINE OF
SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS CAPABLE OF PRODUCING DAMAGING WINDS IN EXCESS
OF 60 MPH. THESE STORMS WERE LOCATED ALONG A LINE EXTENDING FROM
SANDY SPRINGS TO 10 MILES NORTHWEST OF AMORY…AND MOVING EAST AT
70 MPH.
