Storms Produce Wind Damage in Jefferson County

The severe thunderstorm over northeastern Jefferson County produced wind damage in the western part of the county as it moved through that area.

Trees were reported down on Pleasant Grove Road at Five Acre Road. The damage occurred about 11:12 a.m.

This storm is now moving into the Trussville area, and will affect Argo and Springville shortly.

Be in safe shelter as these storms approach.

Additional storms are starting to form over Pickens and northern Tuscaloosa Counties.
