Strong Storms Into Alabama, Others Forming

Strong thunderstorms have pushed into the Tennessee Valley of North Alabama.

They cover parts of Franklin, Lauderdale, Colbert, Limestone, Madison and Lawrence Counties.

Trees have been downed in Lauderdale County.

They are pushing southeast.

Additional storms have formed over southern Jefferson and northern Shelby Counties back into Bibb County. They extend into St. Clair and Talladega Counties.

More storms are over Cullman, Blount and Marshall Counties.

They are moving east southeast.

A severe thunderstorm watch is in effect for North and Central Alabama til 7 pm.
