All is quiet across Central Alabama at this hour. Showers are very isolated. Some are over northern Lamar County.

Clouds are thicker south of I-20 with sunnier skies to the north.

Temperatures were warming into the lower 90s in the I-20 corridor. It is a little cooler to the south in the clouds.

Scattered storms may develop this afternoon. Those that do form will have heavy rain, sharp lightning and gusty winds.
