Clearing Complete

| December 17, 2011 @ 10:28 am

I thought the clouds might hang around for much of the morning, but as you can see from the latest visible satellite image, the clouds have cleared out. This certainly paves the way for a sunny day on the last weekend before Christmas. But in spite of the brilliant sunshine, the air is going to remain somewhat chilly. I expect to see the afternoon highs in Central Alabama to reach the lower 50s, quite a change from the last several days with highs ranging from the upper 60s to lower 70s. So we’re going from about 10 to 12 degrees above average on the highs to about 3 to 5 degrees below the average.
