Tornado Watch Issued; Strong Storms Pickens/Fayette

Strong storms over northeastern Pickens into Fayette counties are moving north northeast.

The storms will move toward Fayette, Eldridge and Carbon Hill.

They will produce strong gusty winds, very heavy rain and dangerous lightning.

The tornado watch has been issued. It includes the following counties.

Autauga, Barbour, Bibb, Blount, Bullock, Calhoun, Chambers, Cherokee, Chilton, Clay, Cleburne, Coosa, Dallas, Elmore, Etowah, Fayette, Greene, Hale, Jefferson, Lee, Lowndes, Macon, Marengo, Montgomery, Perry, Pickens, Pike, Randolph, Russell, Shelby, St. Clair, Sumter, Talladega, Tallapoosa, Tuscaloosa, Walker [AL] till 5:00 PM CST.
