Loud Window-Shaking Storms

At 3 am, a wide band of heavy showers and loud thunderstorms moving across the area very early on this Wednesday morning. Locally heavy rain, vivid lightning. Whole system moving toward the northeast.

No warnings or watches and no indication that the Storm Prediction Center plans to issue one.  Proper ingredients not in place for an outbreak of severe weather.

But will watch it for another couple of hours.
