Strong Indications of Tornado in Western Jefferson County

Incredible velocity on the rotation over western Jefferson County. It is getting even stronger.

It is near Short Creek and Oak Grove now. It will pass near Shoal Creek, Sylvan Springs, Maytown, Mulga, McDonald’s Chapel, Edgewater, Pratt City and Forestdale.

We will watch for any right turn that could carry it into northern parts of downtown Birmingham.
