We Are On The Road!

| February 15, 2012 @ 6:31 am

These are busy days for us in the weather office at ABC 33/40… we hope to see you along the way in coming days…

TODAY: We will be at the Publix on Highway 150 in Hoover (near Trace Crossings and Hunter Street Baptist Church) programming weather radios. If you need help, come see us…

TOMORROW NIGHT: Our annual severe weather awareness tour, Storm Alert 2012, rolls along. We will be in Pleasant Grove with some very powerful stories from the historic April 27 event last year, and we will also have the memorial with the names of all 252 who died in that horrible tornado outbreak. We begin at 6:30… get there early to get a good seat.

SUNDAY: We will have a special Town Hall on the severe weather warning process at Center Point High School at 5:00 Sunday afternoon. We look back at the Jan 23 tornado outbreak, and review how the warning process worked, and look at ways to improve it. This will also be carried live on ABC 33/40, and streamed online. There will be a question and answer session as well.
