A couple of late reports…

…15 W Hayneville [Lowndes Co] emergency mngr reports HEAVY RAIN of U0.00 INCH at 06:05 AM CST — search and rescue underway in the Collirene community for residents trapped in their homes due to flooding. A flash flood warning is in effect for Lawndes County until 8:15 a.m.

…Eutaw [Greene Co] emergency mngr reports TSTM WND DMG at 12:50 AM CST — two homes lost roofs on Vaughn street. one home destroyed and nine roofs damaged on Boligee street. possible tornado.

…Wind damage that could have been caused by a possible tornado was also reported 3 miles north of Samantha in Tuscaloosa County and at Oakman in Walker County. Doesn’t that seem to be a favorite haunt for tornadoes?

Radar check…6:45 a.m.
…Rain and storms now over far eastern Counties…on a continued downhill slide…no warnings in effect except for the flash flood warning…

Tornado watch continues ahead of the line…

A lake wind advisory is in effect for today.

The cold front is approaching Birmingham now. Winds will shift around to the northwest and the temperature will drop some 10-15 degrees in the first hour.
