EF-1 Tornado in Eutaw

Scroll down for the photos, but ABC 33/40’s Tuscaloosa Bureau reporter Isaiah Harper reports that the National Weather Service in Birmingham has confirmed an EF-1 tornado in Eutaw this morning. Not surprising given the looks of the photos from C. Dalton below.

A LINE OF STRONG TO SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS MOVED ACROSS WEST ALABAMA
LATE MONDAY NIGHT. SEVERAL POSSIBLE TORNADOES WERE REPORTED TO THE
NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE OFFICE…AND TWO TEAMS HAVE BEEN
DISPATCHED TO SURVEY THE DAMAGE AREAS.

THE FIRST TEAM HAS BEEN SENT TO THE TOWN OF EUTAW IN GREENE COUNTY…
AND THE SECOND TEAM HAS BEEN SENT TO NORTHERN TUSCALOOSA AND
SOUTHERN WALKER COUNTIES.

INFORMATION FROM THE SURVEY TEAMS SHOULD BE AVAILABLE BY MID
AFTERNOON TODAY.
