Friday night snow?

Wow, what a close call. But, it looks like the low pressure area will be too far north for significant snow here. This storm could produce large snowfall amounts from eastern Oklahoma into Tennessee. Some 8″ amounts possible to our NW.

We could still see a dusting or even 1/2″ as far south as BHM Friday night. It will be very cold on Saturday, with highs only in the 30s, and wind chills in the 20s.

We’ll watch that system, though. If the low happened to shift south, things could change. But, right now, the models seem to be in good agreement.
