Storms Weakening

| May 22, 2012 @ 1:45 am

Our storms tonight are weakening as they push south across southern Talladega, Shelby, Bibb and extreme southern Tuscaloosa Counties.

Strong storms still over Greene and northern Hale Counties however. Here you can expect small hail, gusty winds and heavy rain as well as lots of lightning. Strongest storm is just east of Akron.

Storms moving into Chilton County have flared just a bit.

Everything but the Hale/Greene County storms has gusted out, indicating the weakening trend will continue.
