Shelby Storms Weaken

| May 29, 2012 @ 11:59 pm

The Shelby County storms have weakened and are moving out of the county.

It’s a race now to see whether the warning expires at midnight or whether the storms are completely out of the county first.

Whichever occurs first will spell the end of the warning for Shelby. New warning being issued for Bibb and Chilton.

The storms produced 60-65 mph winds around Alabaster while they were at their peak.

Other strong, but not severe, storms are over Tallapoosa and Randolph Counties in East Alabama.
