Severe Thunderstorm Watch continues for North Alabama until 10 am from about Birmingham northward.

But several NW Alabama counties have been cleared after the line of intense storms moved through.

At 9:15, the main line of storms extended from East Walker County across Cullman County to near Guntersville.

Moving east and SE.

Pouring rain in parts of Walker County where some of the stronger storms were. Heavy rain spreading into NW Jefferson County. This line of thunderstorms will greet Birmingham between now and 10 am.

No formal warnings in Alabama at the moment.

* Trees down along Red Bank Road in Priceville
* Hail between nickle and dime size at Lacy Springs

STATEMENT
NWS/Huntsville issued a Special Weather Statement about these storms for Cullman, Southern Dekalb, Jackson and Marshall Counties. This is short of a formal warning.
