What We Didn’t Want to Hear

Here is a report from the NWS Mobile.

Orange Beach [Baldwin Co, AL] broadcast media reports TROPICAL STORM at 08:31 PM CDT — *** 1 fatal *** a male swimmer drowned in the heavy surf this afternoon.

The deadly rip current conditions will continue along the Alabama and Northwest Florida coasts as long as Debby is in the Gulf.

This is the only way anyone should be checking out the surf along the Gulf Coast: from dry sand!
