A Tale of Two Storms

A look at two storms. One in progress, one forming.


EAST ALABAMA
Storm between Heflin and Jacksonville is already intense and getting stronger. Tops now to near 50,000 feet. Shows high probability of small hail. Nearly stationary, but should move slowly northward.


WALKER COUNTY
Developing storm south of Carbon Hill moving north. Will also be strong. Should show lightning soon.

ELSEWHERE
Storms forming over Greene and Sumter Counties in West Alabama. Another is moving from chambers County in Randolph County in East Alabama.
