Serious Flooding in Lamar County

Water is finally beginning to recede in Vernon in Lamar County where several roads have been under water this evening.

Seven roadways are reportedly still closed at this hour.

The flash flood warning is set to expire at 10:30.

Radar estimates indicate over three inches of rain fell across parts of the county.
