New Severe Thunderstorm Warning Marion/Lamar

Line of thunderstorms moving into Northwest Alabama this afternoon…

WE will be able to sound all clear for Winston shortly…Tornado warning for Cullman County until 2p.m…potentially tornadic storm moving into Cullman County SW of West Point. Also has large hail up along US-278 east of Addison.

New severe thunderstorm warning til 2:30 p.m. for Lamar and Marion Counties. Very strong storms from between Sulligent and Detroit back to north of Caledonia, MS. Moving NE at 40 p.m. Will produce large hail, damaging winds and deadly lightning.

NWS Huntsville maintains a severe thunderstorm warning for Lawrence and Franklin Counties. Dangerous storm south of Russellville, moving toward Moulton.

Tornado watch for West Center and Northwest Alabama until 4p.m. Will likely be extended.
