Heavy Non-Severe Thunderstorms
Waking up this morning to some heavy thunderstorms moving through Central Alabama. Heavy rain and frequent lightning are accompanying these storms, but none of them are severe. The heaviest activity is along Interstate 20/59 from near Vance through Birmingham to about Springville.
Behind these initial storms, heavy rain is falling in Jasper, Tuscaloosa and Aliceville. These storms will continue to push to the southeast this morning as the cold front works across the state.
