Clanton County Update

The storm that dumped baseball sized hail in Clanton a sort while ago has pushed into southern Coosa County, passing near and south of Rockford so the warning for southern Chilton is canceled. It is still severe but might have weakened a little.

Here is the radar showing VIL to pick out the hail cores. The gray/white shows the large hail.

Another severe storm is moving toward Chilton County from Bibb County, heading toward the northern part of the county, but it is weakening also. A severe thunderstorm warning is in effect for the northern part of Chilton County.
