Tornado Watch to Our West

| March 23, 2013 @ 5:33 pm

Severe weather is expected to develop to our west and head east towards Alabama later tonight. An unstable and moist air mass has developed over southern Mississippi throughout the afternoon. Storms are beginning to develop and there is a greater chance for some of the storms to rotate as the mature. Conditions are favorable for some tornadoes in the area. For this reason the SPC has issued a tornado watch for South Central Mississippi until 1 AM.
