All Counties Cleared from Watch
Heading through out the rest of the evening, the atmosphere across much of Alabama has really been worked over by today’s convection. There have been a few showers develop over northern Alabama this afternoon, but have been unable to maintain themselves. With the front still to our north, redevelopment of additional showers and thunderstorms cannot be ruled out. Storms are not expected to be severe, but some storms could be strong. That means gusty winds, small hail, intense rain and frequent lightning. The front should finally clear our area later tonight and it should settle down towards the Gulf Coast tomorrow.
