Turn Around, Don’t Drown!

| July 21, 2013 @ 6:56 pm

2.38 inches of rain at the Birmingham Airport through 6:38, including 0.86 inches in the last 45 minutes and 0.16 inches in just two minutes. And it was till raining heavily.

The storm in the Birmingham area has really weakened, which is good news. But we do have a report of a water rescue going on in Birmingham at 53rd and 3rd Avenue South according to Richard Viola and John Talbot, who are manning the scanners. Richard reports there is another going on nearby on 4th Avenue.

John reports another water rescue at 31st N & Rev Abraham Woods Jr Blvd.

Remember, TURN AROUND, DON’T DROWN!
