Thanks to Brook in Homewood for these images… she writes:

“With the interesting weather we’ve had over the last week, I was able to capture a couple of interesting photos. The first few are of the passing thunderstorm one evening last week. At first the rain appeared very yellow, and by the time the storm passed the sky was a wonderful pink glow. The last photo is of the mammatus clouds moving over downtown Birmingham early Saturday evening. I hope you enjoy them!”
