Severe Storms Over East Alabama

Several trees were blown down around Alexander City by this morning’s severe thunderstorms just before 7 a.m. Some of them landed on homes.

Trees were are reported down around New Site in northern Tallapoosa County at 6:55 a.m.

Severe thunderstorm warnings continue for parts of Chambers and Randolph and well as parts of Elmore County at this hour.
