Scattered strong thunderstorms with sharp lightning and downpours in several NW and West Alabama thunderstorms. Locations:

* Near Haleyville in NE Marion County
* Along Fayette/Marion County line
* SW Fayette County including City of Fayette (partly in east edge of Lamar County)
* Just south of Tuscaloosa along Highway 69
* South Jefferson County and north edge Shelby County along I-65 and near the junction of I-65 and I 459. Very loud thunder and severe lightning reported. Heavy rain and high wind reported earlier in part of Vestavia.
