Most of the showers and storms for Central Alabama have shifted to the south and east this morning. A cold front has made its way into Alabama and you will notice that difference when you step out the door this morning as temps are down in the 40s in most areas. Locations to the north of Interstate 20 and west of Interstate 65 are done with the rain. Moderate to heavy rain continues to fall along the Interstate 85 corridor, but all that activity will continue to shift over into Georgia the next few hours. All rain should be out of the state later this morning and we should all be able to dry out today.
