Warming Up Nicely

We had a chilly start this morning as many locations in Central Alabama were down into the 30s for morning lows. Since then, temps have warmed into the mid to upper 50s across Central Alabama.

For today, we are seeing mostly sunny skies today with just a bit of filtered sunshine. The high clouds that are filtering the sun are currently between Birmingham and Montgomery across central portions of the state. In the Tennessee Valley, full sunshine is being observed, while down across southern portions of the state, they are seeing mostly sunny conditions.

With all the sunshine we will see temperatures continue to climb the next few hours before most locations reach the upper 60s and lower 70s for afternoon highs. It is certainly a beautiful weather day across Central Alabama.
