County EMA is reporting penny size hail in the community of Myrtlewood.

This storm is lifting towards the northeast rapidly. U.S. Highways 43, 82,and State route 25 will be impacted.

Linden, Dayton, Faunsdale are in the path of the worst part of this storm. Damaging winds and large hail are likely with this storm.

* AT 516 PM CDT…THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE INDICATED A SEVERE
THUNDERSTORM CAPABLE OF PRODUCING QUARTER SIZE HAIL…AND DAMAGING
WINDS IN EXCESS OF 60 MPH. THIS STORM WAS LOCATED NEAR
MYRTLEWOOD…OR 9 MILES WEST OF LINDEN…AND MOVING NORTHEAST AT 35
MPH.

* LOCATIONS IMPACTED INCLUDE…
LINDEN…DEMOPOLIS…JEFFERSON…PIN HOOK…CHICKASAW STATE PARK…
FREDDIE JONES FIELD…DAYTON AND FAUNSDALE.
