Strong Storms Affecting West Alabama

A few strong storms are beginning to affect western portions of the state.

The first area of storms we are watching is impacting Winston County with hail, gusty winds, and very heavy rainfall.

The next area of storms, is are causing the same hazards for portions of Greene, Pickens, Sumter, and Tuscaloosa Counties.

None of these storms are currently severe, but they are strong and could reach severe limits at anytime. A tornado watch remain in effect until 10 PM tonight. Flash flood watch is valid until Wednesday morning.
