| June 5, 2014 @ 3:15 pm

SPC upgrades risk for Alabama to moderate. A MCS with a history of producing wind damage continues to move towards the southeast. This system will be impacting much of North Alabama late this afternoon and into the evening hours.

The main threats are very heavy rainfall, damaging straight-line winds, and large hail. The threat for tornadoes remains low. Wind gusts over 70 mph are possible with this feature.
