Severe Clear

| October 4, 2014 @ 1:28 pm

Across the state of Alabama, you could not ask for better weather for this first weekend of October. A sun-filled, cobalt blue sky, with temperatures in the 60s and dew points in the 30s, make this what we call a Chamber of Commerce Day. A northerly wind continues to bring cooler and drier weather into the state, and it is feeling like fall throughout the Southeast.

The rest of today, expect more of the same, and once the sun sets this afternoon, temperatures are going to drop like a rock. Lows tonight will be down into the low 40s for most of the area, with upper 30s showing up in many spots north of Interstate 20. This gorgeous weather will last through the day Sunday with highs likely in the lower to mid-70s.
