Things Calming a Bit…but…

Things are considerably calmer than they have been over the past several hours…but…warnings do continue…

…for Shelby, Coosa and Clay Counties…storm has weakened considerably however…it is between Wilsonville, Vincent and Childersburg….moving SSW…will affect Wilsonville and Talladega Springs…

…for southern Pickens, northern Sumter…northern Greene and extreme NW Hale Counties…big storms from Carrollton to south of Aliceville to Greensboro…these storms are still very powerful…especially south of Aliceville…they are also moving SSW…

LATE REPORT FROM ETOWAH COUNTY…
Apparently at least four homes were set ablaze by the horrible lightning as the storm moved through the Southside community tonight…some people also had to be taken to emergency rooms…unknown causes…but they were storm related…numerous trees were reported down…
