Alabama 811 | Know What's Below.

Radar Update 5:15 p.m.

Things quieting across North Central Alabama.

Storm in northern Perry heading SW toward Greensboro in Hale County…not especially intense…but lots of lightning.

Lots of boundaries swinging around Central Alabama, so can’t rule out additional small isolated pulse storms, but I think most of the activity is over north of Montgomery for the evening.

Elsewhere, most of the activity has shifted south of US-80.

Edouard has become a tropical storm and is now expected to become a hurricane. It is expected to impact the upper Texas coast on Tuesday, perhaps around Galveston. It could affect areas as far east as the Southwest Louisiana coast between Lafayette and Lake Charles.
