* Severe Thunderstorm Warning continues until 8:30 for Bullock, Macon and Montgomery County.

At 8:15, the storms were almost out of Montgomery County. The strongest ones in the area were in Bullock and Macon.

Numerous reports of high winds, large hail and heavy rain this afternoon and evening over West Alabama moving into the Greater Birmingham. Some of the very large hail was big enough to break automobile windshields.

It is most likely that a number of homeowners will discover roof damage at the light of day.
