A band of clouds is moving across Alabama this afternoon, spreading from southwest to northeast. Most areas are still experiencing sunshine. Temperatures are in the 50s, approaching 60F.

A cold front to our northwest is approaching Kansas City. That front will bring showers and a little thunder to North and Central Alabama tonight, mainly after midnight and lasting through the morning hours. Clouds will increase this evening and temperatures overnight will drop into the lower 50s.

Monday highs will be around 70F.

Expect unsettled weather all week, with a chance of showers and storms each day before a cold front moves in late Friday and early Saturday setting the stage for a nice weekend.
