I liked what one person said on Twitter a short while ago: “It looks like I am in an Instagram filter.”

The skies around Birmingham turned an eerie yellowish green to orange this evening as the sunset.

Throw in some impressive mammatus clouds, and it made for an eerie sky.

The Instagrammy look was caused by sunset illuminating the clouds above us.
